Very fair prices, professional, fast, service, and accurately quoted downtime they would need the vehicle. Downside is attention to a minor but significant detail. A little over a year ago, I had Boomer Mcloud install a mid to upper tier car starter in A 2022 diesel pick up. Once or twice when it was particularly cold, the diesel wouldn’t start. I chalk it up to cold weather and the battery. Over this past winter, it became much more chronic To the point where I wound up bringing it to the dealership. After significant diagnosis, they found the Starter had a micro draw that had killed the battery over the previous year. The result was the starter had to be disconnected. (I suspect the dealer could have corrected this rather than disable it but I understand.) Regardless, I would’ve expected This to have been checked since this is one of Boone Mclouds main services.

I had a very frustrating experience with Boomer McLeod and feel obligated to share it so others can be aware. I brought my 2018 Tahoe in for what should have been a straightforward audio-related job—upgrading and properly routing power and ground wiring for my system. Instead, this turned into a much bigger issue. After picking up my vehicle, I immediately started experiencing electrical problems that were never present before. My voltage was dropping dangerously low, my stereo system began cutting out, my amp failed, and even unrelated components like my fog lights started acting inconsistently. When I brought the vehicle back, instead of taking accountability, I was told my amp was bad and ended up purchasing a replacement through them. I was also advised that my alternator might be the issue—despite my Tahoe only having around 66k miles—so I spent additional money replacing that as well. None of this resolved the core problem. To make matters worse, when I scanned my vehicle myself, I found multiple BCM (Body Control Module) faults that appeared after they worked on it—something I never had prior. I had the extreme pleasure of working with Joe who tried to help my car that was having interlock problems. They first replaced a hand set, and when that didnt work spent roughly 4 hours on the phone with intoxalock to unfortunately send it to a different provider to get a new install. Joe was patient, courteous, all for what ended up being 40 bucks. Ill go back to them anyday for my calibration and stuff.

This is the second vehicle that I've had Boomer McLOUD install a remote starter in. The last one, also a CompuStar, outlasted the vehicle (12+years). They are friendly, professional & they have a very clean restroom (extra points). I highly recommend this shop & their products.

Had the guys install a system (deck and speakers) in my camper, very happy with the service. Very knowledgeable, same day service in this situation since all the parts were in stock and they had availability. Just over an hour to make modifications. Well done, I’m a happy camper!
